What Color Means in the Marketing World

August 4th, 2008 posted by · 2 Comments

It seems the most popular color for websites and blogs is blue. From navigation and tables, to the links and header. Blue truly is the most favored color among web developers, but there are other colors that can help make you more money.

For example, did you know that using orange on your website is the combination of the happiness of yellow and the energy and strength of red? It symbolizes creativity, determination, enthusiasm and success.

Zac Johnson has written a wonderful post explaining how the color you choose in your marketing campaigns can determine the outcome of how successful you’ll be.

I knew color played some role, but I didn’t know the specifics. Glad I chose orange and black for this blog!

That’s funny I just came from Zac’s blog and read about this. My blog color is green-which is soothing and trustful… yeah:)

I’ve always tested different color variations with my
site, trying to see if color played a part in conversions.
And just like you said I have use blue because it seems
to work well with my site. Good Information.
