PerformancingAds Review

August 1st, 2008 posted by · 1 Comment

PerformancingAdsYou’ve probably been reading a lot about PerformancingAds by now — the Internet’s new ad serving platform.

PerformancingAds isn’t like a lot of other ad networks I’ve joined. They take 60% of the sale of each ad you sell, while others have been taking as much as 80% (don’t join those networks). You can however, sell ads privately on your blog using PayPal for example, and then upload the banner creative into your PerformancingAds account to serve and manage it. This is what some bloggers have been doing this week to get around the percentage fee. Although, be aware that doing so will probably get you kicked out of the program.

On the advertiser side of things, PerformancingAds offers a plethora of sites in their marketplace that you can advertise on. The rates are very competitive and you’re given a lot of statistics on the site before you decide whether to spend money on it or not.

All payments are handled by PayPal and paid out to the publisher the first week for the previous month. So if you made $500 in July, you would be paid $500 between August 1st and 7th.
