Build a List with Blog Comments
Every internet marketer knows the real money is in the list. If you don’t have an e-mail list to market to, it’s pretty tough to spread the word of anything to a mass group in a few seconds. I’ve been working on building my list with Aweber for about two years now and have about 3,200 people signed up. I don’t send out e-mails too often — only when I feel something is important to broadcast or if I launch a new site.
There are also marketers who build their lists the non-ethical way (in my opinion) by using a WordPress plugin called Comment Relish, which basically scrapes the e-mail addresses from those that comment on your blog and puts them on to a list. The reason I’m bringing this up is because this plugin has received a lot of publicity during this past week on forums and a discussion has ensued about whether it’s really that good or not. It works — so some would say it’s good, but it’s all personal choice. I’d stick with Aweber, but that’s just me.
Did You Get Married by Google?
Google has a lot of influence on our lives, but how about in your marriage? A newlywed couple used Google services to completely plan their wedding and even Google took notice on this official blog. Very cool.
11 Tips for First Time Home Buyers
When I talk to a lot of internet marketers about their long term goals, they almost always mention being able to buy a home. You need to make A LOT of conversions on your CPA offers if you think you’re going to buy a home simply from working online. However, most marketers have at least 6 or more income steams anyway (if they’re smart). So the time has come… you’ve made around $500k and you want to move into your dream home. What do you need to know before you sign the papers? Find out.

Hello Chris,
Another full time problogger and entrepreneur here..I barely read JohnChow.Com anymore, and barely do I click on commenter names since most sites there are John Chow-wannabes, I’m certainly glad though I clicked your name. Great, unique voice and content, keep it up!
One thing that caught my eyes was the method you direct outgoing links with, which I have been looking for a while now. I’d really love to get a mail from you regarding this, whether it’s a plugin or a custom code customization.
Thank you,
Allen

Thanks for the comment, Allen.
The code I use to redirect affiliate links is very simple. Read this post and see step #5.
