Resourceful List of DoFollow Blogs

The “DoFollow” tag is a link that follows you to get ‘link love’ in a way. DoFollow blogs allow your comments to be fed into search engines and gives your site an added back link boost. Google doesn’t like blogs that throw around DoFollow tags, but that’s okay – Google doesn’t own the internet, they only act like they do. The good thing about commenting on DoFollow blogs is that your site will be rewarded as looking more authoritative, because others are linking to you. Check out this massive list of over 200 blogs that all use the DoFollow tag. If your blog is among those sites that uses it as well, then add your information to this directory. Not only are there DoFollow blogs, but there are also DoFollow social bookmarking sites, which usually have a very high PageRank.

10 Best WordPress Plugins for AdSense

If you use Google AdSense in correlation with WordPress, then you’ve probably experienced some headaches trying to manage ad placement in particular locations. It can be tricky testing out different pieces of code under, above and within posts, but it doesn’t have to be. I came across a list of the 10 best WordPress plugins for Google AdSense this week, which should relieve some of your stress when serving ads on your blog. While the post is somewhat dated, the plugins are still relevant today to work with the latest WordPress release.

How to Move WordPress

I received an e-mail this week from a reader who wanted to know how to move WordPress to a different directly on his site. He currently has WordPress installed in a sub-directory, just like I do, and wants to move it to the the site’s root directory. Luckily, there’s a WordPress help tutorial which will explain how to do this better than I can. It doesn’t take that long by the looks of it. I tried it out myself on one of my test sites and I was all moved over to another directory in about 10 minutes. Good luck!

It’s going to take awhile to get through the list of 200, so I started with the WordPress plugins. Those are pretty good for Adsense, though I’m not using any of them at the present time.
