Make Money with Your Own Video Sharing Site: StartYourTube.com
StartYourTube.com is a new service which allows you to create your own free video sharing site. Very similar to YouTube, StartYourTube.com gives you complete control over every aspect of your site and provides you with the software and support backbone that the site runs on. Having your own video sharing site can be a very lucrative business venture. Flash video is one hot market and almost everyone online views video today.
By default, your site is created at yourname.startyourtube.com. You can change this in the admin panel and designate a separate domain name to display your site. Simply update your DNS to reflect their servers and you’re ready to go.
Once you’re logged into the admin panel, these are the many options you’re faced with.
You can change the look and feel of your site by customizing your header, footer, logo, colours, security options and more. If you don’t want users to upload adult content, you can even check a box to prevent it. The good thing is that StartYourTube.com will never censor or remove any content that’s uploaded, so you have complete freedom and control of your site.
How much bandwidth do I get?
StartYourTube.com gives you 2GB of storage space and 10,000 video views of bandwidth a month for free. You can purchase more bandwidth if you need it in the future. Have a look at their pricing chart.
How do I make money?
You receive 60% revenue share of all Google AdSense ads placed on your site. Each ad is placed in a strategic position and matches your site’s colour scheme. You can even throw in your own ads into the site’s layout to generate additional income.

Thanks for the info on video marketing. I haven’t done a video yet but this weekend I bought my first video camera and now I just have to get up the nerve to sit in front of it an start recording.
In the past any time a camera came out I froze. Not sure why but it’s gotta stop as of today.
I am heading over to StartYourTube right now.

I really bugs me when I try to join programs and after they let you type in your email and continue they tell you Canadians aren’t accepted.

I’m Canadian too… just select United States – problem solved.

Chris, I can’t believe that selecting the U.S. never entered my mind. 🙂

First time hearing about this service, might give it a test as a compliment to my site.
