I Got a Free iPhone – No, Really… I Did!

April 11th, 2008 posted by · 8 Comments

I’m the first person to call something a “scam”. I probably use that word a lot because of how skeptical I am. Recently I’ve been searching for an iPhone myself on eBay, Craigslist, Kijiji, local classified sites etc., but without any luck. The iPhones I do find are either way overpriced, not unlocked or not the 16gb version that I’m looking for.

I did a Google search for “iPhone Giveaway” thinking maybe I could find a site that’s running a contest or something for an iPhone. I figured may as well have a shot at something that MIGHT get me an Apple iPhone. Amongst the results I saw a site called YourFreeiPhone.com. This is very similar to FreeiPods.com, which was huge about two years ago. Back then I actually tried it out and scored myself a brand new iPod in about 10 days.

I did a little research on YourFreeiPhone.com and asked some buddies if they’ve heard about this or not. A few of them had heard about it, but didn’t bother checking it out because, yes, here it comes… they thought it was a SCAM! I signed up for the site and completed an offer which gave me 50 points. The 16gb iPhone I wanted was 1200 points. I then noticed that you can refer others to complete offers and with only 10 referrals you can get the 16gb iPhone. These referrals have to complete offers though – how many they do is up to them, whether they want the iPhone too or not.

After my 10 referrals pulled through and completed a few offers, I received enough credit to get my 16gb iPhone. I cashed in my points and within 5-7 days a little package arrived at my door.
I legitimately received an iPhone for free. Well, minus the $10 I spent on completely an offer – so a $10 iPhone ain’t bad!

Since then I’ve done this over and over… and over and over again. I’m currently working towards my 5th iPhone. The first one I kept for myself and the other 3 I sold for $500 apiece, making myself $1,500 in less than a month.

As you can see, it’s definitely not a scam. I can’t really do a good job explaining on here how this works, but I found a YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyG-Gg0PQ3E) which explains the free iPod offer I was telling you about earlier in this post. Watch the video and you’ll understand how this iPhone offer works.

So what offer did I complete? Once you sign up, click on Level A Offers, then Instant Offers. The offer you want to choose is eAuction Tutor. You pay $1.95 shipping and that’s it. Wait until you see the credit go through on YourFreeiPhone.com account (usually within 2 business days), then cancel the account with eAuction Tutor. Now that you’ve fulfilled your offer duty, you can focus on referring others. Or if you can’t find anyone else to sign up, just keep completing various offers until you reach your points goal. If you want the iPhone sooner and don’t mind spending more than $1.95, then you can complete as many offers as you want by switching your account over to “points” from the “referral” setting.

If you need any assistance or have questions about completing an offer, referring folks etc., let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out.

I’ve been getting referrals by posting about it on Facebook actually. Forums also don’t hurt… putting the link in your signature etc.

The stuff really works. I have received the Free IPod at FreeIPods.com, a DS Lite and my favorite my Laptop! 😀 I don’t think I want an IPhone though. LOL. 😛

Jackie: Get an iPhone for me and I’ll PayPal you however much you spend on the offers. It’ll save me some time.

Jackie: The offers are a little tedious, but I canceled all of mine after the trial period. Suckers!
