BTGuard – BitTorrent Anonymously

April 14th, 2008 posted by · No Comments

Last month I wrote a post on making money with file sharing. Since then I’ve discovered a great little tool called BTGuard. What it does is allow you to share files anonymously at unlimited speeds.

What is BTGuard?

Why you’d want to get BTGuard is because most ISPs cap your speed limits and put restrictions on what file sharing programs you can use on their service (in some cases). With BTGuard you can bypass these limits and upload/download at unlimited speeds. Signing up is very easy and only takes a few minutes. After you’ve paid $6.95, you’re given a user name and password, as well as a proxy address to configure in the connections tab of your favourite file sharing client. Once everything is configured, restart your chosen file sharing program and you’re ready to go. Please be aware that you pay $6.95/month, not one time only.

Thanks to Tommy at The Rich Jerk forum for recommending this.
