Make Money by Selling Your Products with E-junkie

February 25th, 2008 posted by · 5 Comments

E-junkieFor those authors and developers who create their own products – listen up! E-junkie is your new best friend when it comes to marketing and selling your downloads and tangible items online. Since I created my eBook I’ve been looking around for a way to set up an affiliate program to better promote it. At first glance, I looked at ClickBank to help me with this, but there are way too many requirements and it seemed like a headache to get the whole thing going. Next I thought I’d give PayDotCom a try, but it didn’t quite do it for me. It lacked the certain options I was looking for when it came to managing an affiliate program. Don’t get me wrong though – ClickBank and PayDotCom are still wonderful sites for promoting other products and making money, but they couldn’t quite accommodate me for what I was looking for.

This is where E-junkie comes in. I recently signed up with them to manage my affiliate sales of my own eBook. For $5/month you can’t really complain with the options they give you and the user friendly setup of their site. Upon signing up you’re given the option on how you’d like to receive and manage payments of your items. You can use PayPal, Google Checkout, 2Checkout, ClickBank and TrialPay. They also ask if you want to create a storefront page to display your items, such as ejunkie.com/your-store-here. They give you a free 7 day fully functional trial to try everything out. Here’s a preview of the cool looking seller admin panel.

I don’t know what more you could ask for, but you have all the options you’ll need to create and manage the sales of your product all in one central location. I’ve decided to sell using PayPal as the payment processor. While many may disagree with using PayPal (I’ve heard many horror stories), so far they’ve been good to me since I joined in 2000.

After you’ve set everything up, such as your price, description, checkout page etc., you can begin selling in the e-Junkie marketplace and on your own site. Cha-ching! That was easy, huh?

Don’t have a product to sell?

No problem. e-Junkie doubles as an affiliate network as well for those who just want to make money by promoting other people’s products (such as mine).
You can search the marketplace and see available commissions per product and sort by subject. The payment of each commission is handled via PayPal and sent out between the 9th and 15th of the subsequent month. As you can see below, there are loads of different categories you can browse through to promote.

E-junkie Affiliate Program

As if selling and promoting products didn’t make you enough money, E-junkie also offers an affiliate program where for each subscriber you refer, you’ll earn 20% of the subscription payment each month. Your earnings are sent out via PayPal on the 10th of the subsequent month. How’s that for recurring income for doing nothing?

It’s quite simple, which I think most people will agree on.

Thanks, Jackie. It was a bit of a headache customizing all of it, but at least it’s done.

Sounds great, I will have to look into it and start to get a few of my products out to a wider audience
