How to Create and Market a RocketProfit Campaign

On Wednesday I introduced to you a new affiliate network called RocketProfit. Many people don’t really know what to do with an affiliate campaign, such as what offer to choose, how to promote it or where to market it.

As an example, I’m going to choose an offer that’s available in both Canada and the U.S. I’ll simply filter my results by country and choose the one which pays the most based on that criteria.

As you can see from the screen shot, Survey Scout comes up as my first result. $22.50 seems like a decent amount for each purchase someone makes. I’ll choose this as my offer and setup a campaign.

Above you’ll see a description of the offer and some guidelines to follow. Once you agree to the terms, you can begin creating your promotional items, such as banner and text links. 468×60 is always a nice choice and it’ll fit in nicely with my blog layout. After choosing which kind of banner you want to display, upload it to your server to begin promoting it. Online marketing is important but I don’t want to completely neglect the real world. I’m considering getting vinyl banners from Printmoz.com and having them strategically placed where my demographic is known to be.

That looks like a pretty good design right there. The purple and yellow really stand out. After I’ve uploaded this graphic, I can begin promoting it.

I’ll try some different advertising mediums and see what works best. Then I’ll focus on the best performing method from there.

Here are some ideas to help get you started.

• Spend $50 on a PPC campaign through Google AdWords. Even if you only make 5 sales the first day, that’s $112.50 you never had before.
• Create a Facebook ad or post in a group for free. Find a group dedicated to making money online or getting paid to take surveys. Share your information about the offer you’re promoting. You can also post a link to your profile for the rest of your contacts to see.
• Send out an e-mail to your list. Most internet marketers have a pretty hefty e-mail list already. Use this to your advantage and let your subscribers know about Survey Scout (or whatever offer you choose).
• MySpace marketing – need I say more? Maybe that’s a little black hat for you. 😈

Following this simple guide on how to get started with RocketProfit can set you on your way to making money online. You can also attribute the same information to any other affiliate network. However, as with anything, it all comes down to how you market it. Don’t send out spam or massive e-mail campaigns over and over, because not only will you most likely be terminated from your related network, but your reputation as an internet marketer will be shot almost immediately.
