Apple iMac Unboxing – In All Its Glory
Yesterday I told you I finally got an iMac. Oddly enough some people e-mailed me asking for photos of the box (?). Hey, why not? I’m glad I took some last week. I’ll just throw up pictures of the entire unboxing process.
I mentioned earlier that I wasn’t sure how I’d fit another computer in my work space because I didn’t have sufficient desk room. I found a pretty decent sized desk at Canadian Tire that came with a built-in surge protector power strip, USB hub and an Ethernet and telephone jack. Not bad for $60. To the right of the desk is a Kodak digital picture frame I received for Christmas.
And finally… the iMac arrives in its well protected shipping box.
I like how all the Apple products say Designed by Apple in California.
Here’s the famous super-thin keyboard I’ve been hearing about. It’s very light as well, and sort of hard to get used to.
This would be the Mighty Mouse. I was about to order a wireless mouse and keyboard, but decided against it. I’d rather not have to worry about batteries dying on me.
This would be the bad boy right here… sitting in its place still wrapped up. It was very cold when it arrived, so I left it there for about 2 hours to warm up before I unwrapped it.
Another shot of the keyboard and accessories. The Apple product packaging is just as impressive as the computer itself.
…and she’s plugged in and ready to go. The on-screen set up process is kind of neat. I wish I had taken pics of that too.

Thanks Chris! lol
I didn’t think you’d actually post pics of the box. 😛
