Lane Hartwell Burst Our Internet Bubble

Last week I shared with you in my chatter post a humourous web 2.0 YouTube video making its way around the internet. It was created by the guys at Richter Scales and was spreading violently viral in no time with almost 700,000 views within the first few days.
Lane Hartwell is a photographer who unknowingly had one of her images featured in the video and decided to filed a DMCA complaint through her lawyer and have YouTube take the video down.
A bit harsh don’t you think? Way to ruin everyone’s fun!
On a lighter note, the only thing Hartwell will end up with is a huge legal bill. I did mention the video went viral, right? There’s no stopping it now.
