Startup Schwag November Shipment Arrives

December 7th, 2007 posted by · No Comments

Startup SchwagMy second Startup Schwag package arrived this week for the month of November. It was a little late – which is expected at this time of year.

With all that aside, here’s a look at what was included this time around.

Reddit – A source for what’s new and popular on the web — personalized for you. They want to democratize the traditional model by giving editorial control to the people who use the site, not those who run it. All of the content on reddit is from users who are rewarded for good submissions (and punished for bad ones) by their peers; you decide what appears on your front page and which submissions rise to fame or fall into obscurity.

BuzzPal – “The World Is Your Party” is a pre-launch Internet startup. Users and members will connect and interact with each other online and offline. BuzzPal applications and widgets will appear on Facebook, MySpace and other social websites.

ClutterMe lets you make a website by typing directly into your browser. The text you type is automatically saved and editable. Uploaded images are draggable and resizable as are embedded videos. In the future, look for ClutterMe to become a GoDaddy domain reseller, where users can save their webpages to their own domain.

Disqus is the new webwide discussion community. Do you have a blog? Plug in by integrating an awesome new comment system! Track your comments and follow your friends across all blogs plugged into Disqus.

Fuser is a web-based tool that allows you to consolidate email messages along with Facebook messages and wallposts and MySpace messages and bulletins into one inbox.

PropertyMaps is the only map-based real estate search on the Internet that uses real Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data. MLS’s are the databases that are shared by all REALTORS® from coast-to-coast. No other collection of properties even comes close to the 60 million contained in America’s MLS’s.

WeDigTV is the World’s first TV2 network, based out of the UK. They are pioneering a medium which makes format shows (today’s examples would be the likes of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, etc.) relevant to a mass audience in the post broadcast world. They have a strong UK user base and are soon to launch in 12 other territories including the US.
