Top Trends in Search in 2007

How does Yahoo! determine this list?

To come up with the Top Trends of 2007, we analyze search queries based on a number of factors, including absolute volume and growth versus previous periods, to see which themes and trends bubble to the surface. And of course, individual users and their searches remain anonymous.

How can I make money by using this information?

It’s a good thing you asked – after all, this is a money making blog. Any internet marketer would tell you that analyzing what other people are searching for is a gold mine. You can create a niche based around the most popular searches and find yourself monetizing a site very quickly. Take a look at the number 1 spots above for example. Harry Potter and NASCAR are right up there. Creating a site based around these subjects would be a wise choice.

Check out the complete list of the Top Trends in Search in 2007. Also be sure to keep an eye out for the up to date late arrivals added to the list.
