My Secret Internet Marketing Resource
Many people often ask me where I learned what I know about internet marketing and making money online. I usually tell them, “Oh, just forums and stuff.” 😉
Back in July 2006 I joined The Rich Jerk program, which also comes with lifetime access to his marketing forum. I knew quite a bit about internet marketing before joining RJ, but since then my knowledge in this area has widely broadened. The book RJ wrote is great, but if you don’t supplement it with participating in the forum, you’re going to be lost. What makes the forum so unique is that it’s not available to the non-paying public, but only members who have purchased access to it. Because the forum is private, you’re going to learn much more valuable information than on any other site where anyone can see it.
One of the forum’s most famous members (in my opinion) is a fellow by the name of Ruck. He’s not a suit-wearing, smooth talking guru with empty promises. He’s an average, down to earth guy with a family whose making a living online. Ruck did a video post recently on why you should join this forum outlining the many benefits it has.
Why would you reveal your secret internet marketing resource, Chris? Are you crazy?
First of all, I don’t appreciate you thinking I’m crazy. Oh, sorry… I wrote that. 😯
It’s not really that much of a secret, but the marketers I speak to on a daily basis have never heard of The Rich Jerk. I thought I’d promote it again because many new readers coming here should have the option to join if they want to. I first wrote about RJ in July 2006, just after I joined. Since then I’ve visited the forums everyday and it’s where I spend most of my “breaks” when I’m not blogging.
Remember Ruck I mentioned a few paragraphs ago? Check out his video post below on why you should join. You can thank me later. Maybe buy me dinner at a nice restaurant, such as Mendy’s. I’ll probably just have soup and save the meal for another time though. (Seinfeld reference).

I bought his book before he had the forum (previous to 2006). You think I can still get access to it?

You probably could. Did you get a user name and password when you bought the book? The site runs on a membership script, so try using that information to log into the forum. If not, contacting their support.

I didn’t get only one thing why do you think the knowledge of few paid members is better than the knowledge of public.

The RJ forum is like a family and we help each other out in any way possible when it comes to achieving financial success. There’s also knowledge that is shared there that I’ve never before read on any other public marketing forums. That’s why I called it my ‘secret resource’. It’s definitely worth checking out.

I wonder why the Rich Jerk couldn’t keep himself out of bankruptcy. My guess is he started putting too much money into advertising his own Rich Jerk program and forgot that he had another core business model to work on.
I bought one of his e-books but all the strategies seemed vague and outdated. I am much happier with Day Job Killer which I wrote about on my blog.

Well he did throw a big party at the Playboy Mansion. I’m sure that wasn’t cheap. He did donate all the profits to charity though.
Wasn’t it just a rumour he was going bankrupt? Maybe his customers are making more than he does now. 😎
I bought Day Job Killer too… excellent information, but beginners find it a bit pricey I’ve found.
