Affiliates & Marketers: Get Ready for Christmas
Now that Halloween is over, many affiliates will begin focusing their attention on Holiday themed campaigns, such as Christmas and New Years. November 1st marks the day many affiliate networks and ad companies release their Christmas-targeted-offers for their members. It’s best to get on this and start promoting these offers as fast as you can.
Tangible items, such as electronics and household items are always very popular and can make great gifts. Ad networks like ShoppingAds and TTZ Media will be extremely popular amongst marketers who want to cash in on the Christmas shopping craze. I’m seeing it happen already with local advertisements here in Canada. Yesterday, being November 1st, Canadian Tire sent out their Holiday flyer advertising outdoor lights, winter gloves, Christmas trees, decorations and gift items.
The biggest shopping day in the United States this year is Friday, November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving (also known as Black Friday). Retailers experience their highest surge of sales throughout the season in just this one day. Most stores open at 5:00am and it’s a mad rush inside once shoppers make a run for all the great deals and bargains. It’s no different with online shopping – marketers need to be on their toes and make sure to take full advantage of the hype cash the Holiday season brings.

great thought. I had never even thought about Christmas as a blogger, but we have to take every opportunity we can.
