Be Visible with Ziki.com

Ziki.com is a free service I’ve been using for months to get my name on the first page of major search engines.  What Ziki does is allow you to create a free profile about yourself and then they sponsor that page (at no cost to you) in search engines when someone looks up your name.

Once you’ve created your free profile you can add numerous options and tweak settings to make the page best suit you.  Some of these options include:

• Selecting keywords
• Adding your website’s feed
• Adding your favourite links
• Linking to your main website
• Writing a short bio about yourself 
• Monetizing your page with Google AdSense

By default, Ziki will not sponsor your listing unless you authorize them to do so.  Once you’re logged in, select ‘Search engines listings’ from the ‘Settings’ menu and choose ‘I authorize Ziki to sponsor my name on Google, Yahoo and MSN.  I agree to give to Ziki the right to conduct an advertising program using my member information and my content.‘

When someone searches for me in Google, this is what they see at the top right under ‘Sponsored Links’:

Neat, huh?  You can create a profile and have a sponsored listing for any name you wish.  This is especially useful if you don’t rank on the first page of Google because your name is too common.
