Making the Most Money this Holiday Season
Like any good Internet marketer, you know to take advantage of events, holidays, etc. to cash in on a buyer’s shopping habit. Christmas time is no different, as thousands of people are buying online everyday to simplify their gift-giving experience. DatMoney.com shows you five easy tips on how to generate some quick affiliate income by helping shoppers cross items off their list. Of course, one of the big tips on the list is building links, which in return, helps build authority with the search engines and makes your site profitable not just during the holidays, but for months to come.
Are Twitter Ads Evil?
Internet marketing “gurus” would tell you that paid advertising on Twitter, such as Sponsored Tweets, ad.ly, etc. are a cash cow when it comes to in-stream advertising. Mashable.com says that interrupted advertisements, such as those found in the middle of your friend’s Twitter feeds, are the same old model of advertising we’ve been blocking out for years now, just like commercials. They also go on to say that paid recommendations destroy trust, because you’ll never know if what your friend is suggesting to you is true, or just their paid opinion. They also say big brands like Dell, need to build friendships with their customers, not just tweet special deals at them.
How to Write Magnetic Headlines
One of the most important parts of writing a blog post is a catchy headline. You can either make or break your post, traffic, and income without putting some consideration into what your headline should be. Some bloggers say so leave your headline until you’re finished writing your post; others say it should be the first thing you write before the actual post itself. Whether you decide to do it first or last, it needs to be ‘magnetic.’ CopyBlogger posted a roundup of articles this week to help you get going on creating some powerful headlines.
