Top 10 Hot Holiday Products on Amazon

November 30th, 2009 posted by · No Comments

Amazon

With Christmas just a few short weeks away, I thought I’d put up a list of the most popular items at this time of year on Amazon.com. Their famous Black Friday sale last week has been carried over for a few more days, due to overwhelming demand.

If you haven’t started your Christmas shopping, consider some of these hot items this year:

Kindle Wireless Reading Device – $259.00 (Broke November sales record as #1 product on Amazon)

Stores up to 1,500 digital titles from best selling authors and novelists, including magazines, newspapers and blogs. Connect wirelessly to the Amazon store to download more material at anytime. Ideal for a long airplane ride or waiting in the airport to catch a flight home for the holidays.

Apple iPod Touch 8 GB (3rd Generation) – $181.99

It’s the next best thing to an iPhone, but without the hefty monthly cell bill. The iPod Touch holds up to 30 hours of music playback or 6 hours of video playback when fully charged. Connect wirelessly to Wi-Fi hot spots and download Skype to make cheap phone calls with a compatible headset.

Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black) – $151.98

Known as the world’s smallest HD camcorder, the Flip UltraHD takes stunning images at amazing resolution and fits nicely in your pocket. I personally have the MinoHD model, but this model is ideal too. Makes for a great stocking stuffer to capture the holiday fun around your household. Transfer data seamlessly via USB to your computer for easy editing and uploading.

Nintendo Wii – $199.99

This is probably the cheapest I’ve ever seen this device. Locally at the stores here, it runs you about $250. You can even pick this up for $179.96 if you don’t mind it being used, but you’d want a new one for a couple bucks more, wouldn’t you? Built-in Wi-Fi access for easy connection to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection gaming service with Wii Sports game included.

Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset – $37.99

With most states and provinces banning cell phone use while behind the wheel, Bluetooth Headsets are in demand this season. This particular unit is very popular and features an extended mic for superior quality when speaking to your friends and family.

Apple MacBook Pro 13.3-Inch Laptop – $1,114.95

This powerful little system runs a 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor and delivers a 160 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 13.3 inch LED Display, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics and Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard Operating System.

Apple Magic Mouse – $69.99

The newest mouse from Apple has come in with some very positive reviews, especially with the fact that there isn’t a wheel to get clogged. The sleek-designed piece of hardware comes in a compact package with no wires to worry about and relies completely on Bluetooth technology to communicate with your system. I have the Magic Mouse on my Christmas list as well if anyone out there is feeling generous. 😉

Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator – $114.99

This GPS unit will help you navigate the streets anywhere in North America with a clear, colored 4.3-inch widescreen LCD. Includes JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more.

Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (5th Generation) – $129.99

The newest generation of iPod features a video camera, 8 GB capacity for 2,000 songs, 7,000 photos, or 8 hours of video. This item is also 15% off while supplies last.

Fujifilm FinePix J28 10.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom – $99.95

Features 10.2MP; 3x Optical Zoom, 2.7-Inch LCD, Face Detection with Red Eye Removal and NP-45 Rechargeable Battery. Fits nicely in your pocket, perfect for pulling out at the company Christmas party, or any other holiday event that you have planned.
