Google to Merge Payment Systems This Week
Beginning this week, Google will merge publisher payments for their Affiliate Network with Google AdSense. That means publishers will be able to receive one paycheck for both services, instead of two separate ones at different intervals.
On Thursday, August 13, if you’re the primary user of your publisher account, you’ll see the option to sign up for an AdSense account, or link your existing one if that’s the case. You’ll have until September 21 to link your accounts in time to receive AdSense payments from July and August.
This seems like a great idea to me — anything to simplify the process has my vote. Now perhaps the next step will be some sort of automated payment system besides checks or direct deposit. PayPal would be nice.
Perhaps sometime down the road, payments can also be made on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. ClickBank comes to mind on this one, where they rolled out weekly payments a couple months ago.

The word “finally” comes to my mind. Now I just hope they will merge AdSense and AdWords as well, so people can use their earned money.
