Ice-T Breaks a Mac — Apple Lovers, Cover Your Eyes
Rapper Ice-T decided to take a hammer to his old MacBook. The results are what you would expect, and it ain’t pretty! Although, he could have saved the RAM and some other parts, but he’s too rich for that kind of stuff.
Do You Create Vanity URLs for Social Media Profiles?
Vanity URLs are specific domain names that forward to your existing social media profiles, such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace etc. Presently most of my profiles can be found by going to MoneyMakingScoop.com/whatever-profile-im-promoting. It’s simple enough to do with a PHP redirect, but the topic of vanity URLs recently came up on Lynn Terry’s blog, where she discusses registering an actual domain, such as ChrisJacobsonFacebook.com, which would of course go to your Facebook profile. The whole idea doesn’t seem too appealing to me and most people would probably end up sticking to PHP redirects on their existing domain, or take advantage of the recently available Facebook user names. Not only does it save you money, but it’s easier to brand yourself from an already established domain.
Creating an Affiliate Team
Most affiliate marketers work on their own and prefer to do business without anyone else involved. But once you start making the big money and taking on more projects, having a little help on the side can be a beneficial asset in helping your business move forward. UberAffiliate.com recently talked about building your team and takes a look at what to look for in individuals you choose to come aboard with you. Maybe I’m just a bit different, but I’ve always worked the best on my own and have tried the team player thing in the past without much success. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a great team player in a physical environment, but when doing business online, it’s personally easier to be solo.
