Could The Internet Be Changed Forever?
Computer experts at Harvard University believe they have created a search engine that directly competes with Google. “The new system, Wolfram Alpha, showcased at Harvard University in the US last week, takes the first step towards what many consider to be the internet’s Holy Grail – a global store of information that understands and responds to ordinary language in the same way a person does.” How long have people been trying to compete with Google? Since they first launched is a fair guess. I’m definitely curious to see how much competition Wolfram Alpha gives Google — something everyone will be keeping an eye on.
