How to Find the Latest Online Contests
Keeping track of all of the contests taking place online can be quite the task. New contests are launched everyday, and most of them are worth your while to enter. The most popular kind of contests in the Internet marketing niche are mostly always sponsored by affiliate networks using their publishers to get the word out about their network by rewarding their readers with prizes. Two websites you should make a note of are Indo Contest and Submit Your Contest. These sites list all of the current contests going on, and even accept submissions should you ever wish to hold one yourself and give away prizes.
Embed Twitter Into Your Blog
With Twitter being the most widely used social media tool among bloggers and Internet marketers, it’s best that you’re on board. If you’re not, sign up and follow me right away. One of the tools available to Twitter users is the ability to display their latest Tweet in a widget provided by Twitter.com. While this is useful, the widget itself isn’t particularly pretty looking. It serves its purpose just fine, but if you want something more visually appealing that blends in with your website’s design, you may consider another option. The Alpha Gecko has laid out some code you can use to embed your latest Tweets. Take a look at his sidebar for an example.
Latest PayPal Scams to be Aware Of
It seems like scams are a never ending cycle for PayPal users. There’s always a new one to be aware of, and my inbox sees a new one almost every week. Fortunately, I’ve never been hit by a PayPal scam, because I don’t open up those real-looking e-mails, but instead log into their website and check any news or messages from there. This week, BloggingTips.com rounded up a bunch of the latest frauds costing PayPal users money and posted all of them. Go and give them a look over so you can avoid these if you happen to receive one.
