WordPress 2.7 is Finally Out

Go and download WordPress 2.7 immediately! The new version came out on December 10 and has been getting great reviews so far. I’ve updated all of my blogs with it, and haven’t had any issues. The new layout is very easy to use and a lot more organized. Watch this quick walkthrough of the new version.

Another Way to Build Backlinks

I’ve written about ways to get backlinks before… here and here. You can never have too many, so here’s yet another way to build some quality backlinks to your blog. Kris at CashTactics.net has posted about a site called RSS Mix, which allows you to add multiple feeds into one big feed. He then shows you where to submit this one big feed to, including multiple sites with very high PR scores.

Are You a Hustla, Baby?

Fellow Internet Marker and blogger, Ian Fernando, has posted about how having a “hustler” mindset can make you more successful in your business. Ian talks about how he started off selling on eBay and even selling items out of the trunk of his car to people coming out of a McDonald’s restaurant. All of those street smarts has helped Ian to where he is at today — a successful Internet marketer.

Is YouTube Dead?

Quite a backlash of YouTube users made their voices heard recently as the site made some adjustments to the way it displays videos. The “Most Viewed” option was removed, and replaced with a “Most Popular” link, which brought up corporate sponsored videos, such as the latest Apple commercial. In doing this, YouTube received thousands of angry responses and quickly put the “Most Viewed” option back in its place. The discussion continues.
