Facebook Advertising Adds Reporting Features

November 21st, 2008 posted by · No Comments

Facebook advertising just got even better! They’ve recently introduced a new ad reporting feature that lets you track demographics, interests and locations of those who click on your ads.

New reporting includes…

Advertising Performance: This report allows you to download the performance information which is already available in your account. The downloadable spreadsheet gives you data on clicks, CTR, and performance data by every unique user.

Responder Demographics: Facebook users spent a lot of time posting photos, writing on each other’s walls and chatting. These reports give you the age, gender and location of those interacting with your ads.

Responder Profiles: In addition to the data you already have, including age, gender and geographic location of the users who have clicked on your ad, Facebook now offers information on these same users. This data is taken directly from the user profiles and include common interests, favourite music, movies, TV shows, etc.

Why does this data matter? You now have basically been handed a direct 1-2-3 guide on who to market to when it comes to Facebook PPC. You can then browse through your favourite affiliate network and search for offers that would be applicable to your audience.

Learn how to make Facebook advertising even more profitable for you by reading this post.
