Google Knol is creating a lot of buzz ’round the Internet this week as being the new Squidoo. Google Knol allows users to create their own ‘knol’, which is an article page highlighting an area of expertise by the author.

The real kicker is that Google ranks these knols REALLY well — sometimes on the first page of results for a unique search term. ShoeMoney.com and ProBlogger.net have both posted about this aspect of the knol.

If you’re an internet marketer that hasn’t yet created a knol, you should definitely get on this as soon as possible. Google Knol is still very new and hasn’t become overpopulated yet (which it soon will). Right now is the perfect time to create as many knols as you can to benefit from the search engine love.
