Logitech MX Air MouseI’ve been using Logitech products since I can remember.  My keyboard, webcam, speakers and mouse are all Logitech.  They make excellent products and are probably my favourite computer hardware maker.  I was at a wedding social a few weeks ago and one of the prizes was a Logitech MX Air 2.4GHz wireless mouse.  I already had a mouse of course, but who am I to turn down free stuff?

At first I had a hard time navigating this thing because it is completely different from what I’m used to.  It’s almost like using the Nintendo Wii to scroll through websites.  Now I’m almost a pro and I find this easier to use than a regular mouse to be honest with you.

Let me run down a few of the specs on this bad boy:

  • Freespace™ motion sensing: In the air, use MX to browse and play your favorite media. The sensor transforms hand motions into natural, responsive cursor controls. Adjust volume by waving to the right or left; skip tracks with a flip of the wrist.
  • Gesture controls: Control playback and volume with hand motions. Adjust volume by waving to the right or left; skip tracks with a flip of the wrist.
  • Li-ion battery: Recharges faster, lasts longer.
  • 2.4 GHz wireless: An operating range of 30 feet lets you navigate media from anywhere in the room.

I’d definitely recommend the MX Air if you’re looking for more of a hands on computing experience.
