Whereas CPA may be the way to go, it's hard to do because most of the people who visit blogs like ours are trying to sell the same types of things, and thus it's the wrong market to try to sell to. I've tried adding something a little different on my blog, through Commission Junction, but those aren't working either. So, the real challenge is to try to find something that will make even those who do what we do want to at least look at them. Good post, but one that gives me pause.
